Fallout 3 is one of the newest and hottest game on the market right now. I have seen the game but haven’t had time to play it yet but i will like everyone else I cann’t resist. The demo I did see looked great and as before the adult humor is very funny. Official Xbox Magazine gave the game a 10 out of 10 and Xplay gave it a 5 out of 5. Before Gamelet gives its opinion you the readers must tell me what you think. I will be posting your opinions and mine at the end of the week. So don’t pass up your chance to be heard. If you haven’t played go buy the game or rent it and play hard and tell the world your favor part of the game and what part needs to be improved. And don’t worry if you hated the game and want to trash it I’ll post that too just keep it clean.

It’s been seven long months since we last heard an update on Cory Barlog’s video game adaptation of Mad Max. Now Barlog, best known for his work on a little thing we like to call God of War II, has posted an update on the project to his blog, though whether or not he had to saw through his own foot to get to the keyboard remains something of a mystery.

Barlog’s work on the game’s story with Mad Max film producer, George Miller, appears nearly done, the pair having “put the final touches on the Mad Max story and game design structure and mechanics.” However, Barlog adds that they’re “working with some publishers to get a deal locked down so we can start making this bad boy,” so don’t go expecting to hunt gangs across the dystopian Australian highways anytime soon.

The Old Tomb Raider was a nice game. But the new one is much better in many ways.  The New Tomb Raider: Underworld has about 2000 animations and many more combat steps are added to Lara’s Skills.

She can now jump in poles, cliffs and on walls. You can now discover things in Underworld that was missing in previous Releases. The game and the trailer is all about what Lara Can Do?

Those of you that have been waiting for the Manhunt 2 after you have played the Prequel of it. Good news for you. Manhunt will be released in the UK late this month (on 31st October to be accurate). If you are not familliar with it, Manhunt was one of the most famous Games of 2007. It was abused a lot over the brutal and violent scenes it had incorporated in it. It was even turned down for its “unremitting bleakness and callousness of tone” by British Board of Film Classification. However it has now been reworked and a SFEurope version of the game will be launched in the UK for the Wii, PS2 and PSP. It will surely lack a few of the more grisly elements included in the inappropriate North American version but it will still be fun to wait and watch how the Gamers Take this game and how enjoying it may be.

As if winning eighteen thousand gold medals at the Beijing Olympics wasn’t enough, swimmer Michael Phelps got a further reward for his awesomeness on last Thursday’s CBS Early Show — an early copy of Call of Duty: World at War provided by publisher Activision. But all was not as it seemed. As developer Treyarch revealed on its blog, the box Phelps was handed on live TV actually contained an I.O.U. card for the final version of the game, which is still in production. It’s not all smoke and mirrors, though — Phelps has been promised “the first disc off the production line … later this year.” We suppose that’s understandable. Michael Phelps may be amazing, but it seems even he can’t change the laws of time and space.

Developer Black Box’s nitro button must be worn down to a nub. The studio announced today that its upcoming Need for Speed sequel, Undercover, will ship this November, pulling up to the starting line well before the 2009 release previously mentioned by EA CEO John Riccitiello.

In development for every platform under the sun (yes, even mobile phones), Need for Speed Undercover will also sport what Black Box describes as “big-budget live-action sequences” starring Balls of Fury and Mission Impossible III actress, Maggie Q, as a federal agent who recruits drivers to take down a criminal syndicate. While recent Need for Speed racers have all but siphoned our tanks of what enthusiasm we once had for the series, those who care can look forward to race with Ms. Q in North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 21.

While boasting a fraction of DirectX usage in the gaming market, OpenGL hasn’t been sitting around while Microsoft eats its lunch. Long favored as a foundation for cross platform games like World of Warcraft, and historically used by id Software to famous effect, the API just hit the 3.0 in a major reworking of the library. NVIDIA has had a hand in the API, and has wasted no time in releasing graphics drivers for the newly minted standard. The beta code supports GeForce 8000 series cards or higher on the desktop and laptop sides, and implements all of OpenGL 3.0 and the GLSL 1.30 shading language with just a few exceptions. Naturally, users won’t be getting much out of this right off the bat, the beta drivers are mainly meant for developers looking to build software that takes advantage of 3.0, but it’s nice to see a GPU builder hand-in-hand with a next gen graphics API and supporting it out of the gate on existing cards.
